$10,000 Commitment Bonus Eligible | Paid out in 4 equal installments over 24 months in 6-month increments.

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Radiology Technologist in our Duke Spine and Pain Management of Raleigh clinic located in Durham, NC to be an integral member of the healthcare team to provide direct and indirect care to patients.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares patients for radiologic procedures. Protects patient, self, and other staff from radiation hazards. Takes fluoro images using a C-Arm following established procedures for patient care and safety, which involves setting up and operating radiographic equipment used in the medical diagnosis and/or treatment of patients and includes implementing infection control procedures for the work area. Selects proper ionizing factors for radiological diagnosis. Adjusts/sets radiographic controls. Positions patients and takes fluoro images of specific parts of the patient's body as requested by physicians.
Sets up sterile trays for procedures
Performs intake with patients to include vital signs, visit information, and other clinical information as indicated.
Assists with collection of laboratory specimens. Coordinates send-off to third party labs.
Explain treatment procedures to patients.
Floats in clinic to cover patients and provider needs as delegated by nurse manager, health center administrator, charge nurse, or nurse team lead.
Cleans, maintains, and makes minor adjustments to radiographic equipment, including determining equipment repairs
JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification or currently holds required registry or certification.
Level I must obtain certification within 18 months of employment.
Level II Minimum of two years' experience as a diagnostic radiology technologist.
ARRT certification in radiography OR ARRT certification within 18 months of hire
BLS certification
