The salary range for this position is $86,500-$112,800. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. “Off-scale salaries” and other components of pay, i.e., a salary that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated rank and step, are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions. Assistant professors conduct and disseminate research that contributes to nursing knowledge while teaching and mentoring undergraduate (BS) and graduate (MS, DNP, and PhD) students to prepare them for successful nursing careers.
