DescriptionThe licensed practical nurse assists the registered nurse with total care of assigned patients in the Emergency Department. The licensed practical nurse is responsible for the gathering data, reassessment, and assisting the registered nurse in the establishment of nursing diagnosis, implementation of care, and evaluation of care. The licensed practical nurse initiates health care training and education to the client/family as required while supporting and fostering the goals of Vaughan Regional Medical Center and the Department of Nursing. The licensed practical nurse demonstrates awareness of ongoing needs to other team members in maintaining optimal standards of nursing care. The position is accountable for the non-licensed n
