RN Ortho Unit FT Nights Position Summary
This is a Full-Time position with a 16-bed unit specializing in the management of patients with elective total hip, total knee replacements and spine surgeries.
We are seeking RNs with recent acute care nursing experience.
Will be scheduled for (3) 12-hour Overnight shifts each week including a weekend rotation.
This role provides direct clinical patient care.
The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level.
The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated.
The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
RN ORTHO UNIT FT NIGHTS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Education: Graduate of Accredited Nursing Program.
Experience: Minimum six (6) months of Med/Surg experience required. Ortho experience preferred.
Licensure/Certs: Current RN license to practice in the state of TN. Current American Heart Association issued BLS certification.
