This position is located at the Wilmington VA Medical Center. Duties include but are not limited to : Executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex patient care and support to the organizational culture of safety and continuous improvement. Facilitates improvement initiatives through collaboration at the service line level to evaluate current state, develop interventions, assist with implementing actions, and ongoing tracking of outcomes. Responsible for ensuring the fulfillment of the goals and mission of the Wilmington VA Medical Center through collaborative processes with service leaders. Demonstrates leadership in planning, implementing, evaluating, and improving holistic care delivery using collaborative strategies with others while ensuring compliance with VISN and Medical Center mission and nationally recognized standards of care. Practice is based on conscious and deliberate planning utilizing critical thinking. Provides technical expertise to the Medical Center Director, other leadership and all staff in resolution of extremely complex issues.
