Nurse Clinician I (NCI)'s entry level knowledge base has been validated by successful completion of NCLEX requirements for professional nurse licensure.
Requires supervision while learning to apply knowledge and skills in the delivery of safe, general nursing care. NCI is expected to manage basic nursing care assignments in routine, predictable situations with supervision.
Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred.
Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
Must be adequate to meet the following communication requirements:
Accurately interprets and transmits clinical information in English, both verbally and in written form; and Sends and receives messages patients/families/SOs can comprehend.
The start date of the Nurse Residency Program will occur on February 14, 2022.

Graduate nurse with less than one year experience
Nurse Residency Survey Questionnaire (HR will provide upon completion of STEP I)
Current copy of resume
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Bachelor preferred)
Ideal candidate will have a GPA of 3.0 or greater
Residency Requirements upon hire:
Official nursing school transcript
Current AHA or American Red Cross (ARC) life support course for BLS will be submitted and valid for six (6) months upon hire
Two professional letters of recommendation to the "ATTN: Nurse Residency Program" ( examples : current nursing faculty/supervisor or previous employer)
RN license from the state of TX prior to beginning employment
Special Requirements: Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Writing/Composing, Bilingual Preferred (Any Language)
Work Schedule: Weekends, Holidays, Flexible and On Call
