This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT and will remain open until all position are filled.The initial cut-off date for referral of eligible applications will be December 1, 2020, with subsequent cut-off dates on the 1st of each month. Eligible applications received after that date will be referred at regular intervals or as additional vacancies occur on an as-needed basis until positions are filled. The Endoscopy Recovery Room nurse provides preoperative and Phase II post recovery care to patients who have received anesthesia from moderate sedation to general sedation. Recovery staff prepares patient and family for discharge to home or other extended facility. The Endoscopy recovery room staff will provide the following scope of care: - Pre-Op Phone calls - Post-Op phone calls - Assessment and management of patient during patient stay within Recovery room - Airway management - Management of post-operative pain - Post-Anesthesia care with body systems review - Patient and family education - Recovery of patients who received conscious sedation, general anesthesia and MAC The Endoscopy recovery room staff works collaboratively with the Providers implementing the plan of care for patients requiring a procedure. The care is multidisciplinary, including collaboration with other services including community resources as needed.
