You Will Be Responsible For:
Reviews patient satisfaction results with staff at staff meeting and through other avenues of communication
· Discusses ways in which employees can contribute to patient satisfaction.
·Responsible for department payroll. This includes collaboration with employees, payroll office and other departments as needed.
Complies with Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (TJC)
Responsible for staffing needs, which may include: selection/screening and interviews
Responsible for progressive counseling through verbal and written communication
· Ensures employees are orientated within Gordon Hospital and their respective department, as well as reviewing employee‘s job description with employee
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Current GA RN license
ACLS & PALS within within 6 months of hire
Minimum of three years’ experience practicing as a Registered Nurse and two years of leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred.
The Manager will be responsible for all the following duties and responsibilities in collaboration with the Department Director and Clinical Coordinator. These will include, but are not limited to: customer satisfaction, financial management, regulatory compliance, human resources issues, employee competency, performance improvement, maintaining and complying with policies and procedures and regular communication with employees. The Manager provides leadership and oversight with all unit functions and patient care issues on a day-to- day basis. Occasional duties and responsibilities will occasionally occur outside of typical office hours.
