Work Hours/Shift:

• PRN/ Days

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Assists IR and general Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and other Physicians in the Imaging department
• PAT patients scheduled for department procedures
• Administration of moderate sedation of imaging patients
• Post procedural education for all imaging patients
• Participate in ongoing process improvement and patient experience processes

What You Will Need:

• BLS, ACLS, certifications
• Must have experience in hemodynamic monitoring
• 2 years Critical care experience
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Two years or more of hospital/ICU nursing experience required
• Vascular Interventional knowledge and skills
• Proficiency in acute-care nursing

Job Summary:

• Performs the duties of the Registered Nurse in the Imaging Department.  Has been specially trained in radiological and vascular interventional procedures and techniques. Responsible for meeting hospital standards of care using the standard nursing process and skills of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation for the following patient care populations: geriatrics, adult, adolescent and pediatric.  Properly documents patient care given.  Assists other department staff in provision of basic patient care in Imaging. Communicates with Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, other Physicians, department staff, nursing staff and patients and their families as needed for high quality patient care.  Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan, and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
