Registered Nurse Endoscopy Full Time Days 7.5K Sign-On Available

Summary

To provide safe and effective nursing care to all patients utilizing the nursing process. The RN is responsible for the direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care in the Endoscopy Suite. Administers and performs specialized nursing care related to endoscopic procedures. Assists in developing departmental goals in keeping with the hospital�s mission, goals, and objectives. The RN utilizes evidence-based practice in accordance with professional standards and adheres to the Florida State Nurse Practice Act. The RN reviews orders/test results and documents care delivered accurately and timely in electronic health record.

Up to 7.5K Sign-On Bonus based on experience

Position Requirements/Qualifications (including required licensure/certifications, education and job knowledge / experience):

Education Minimum:

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

Preferred Experience:

• One year hospital experience and three years nursing practice in an endoscopy unit
• Certification by the Society of Gastrointestinal Nurses and Associates (CGRN) highly desirable

Required Certification / Licensure / Registration:

• Current Florida RN license
• American Heart Association BLS/ACLS/PALS
