Overview Fairview Health Services is looking for a Nursing Station Technician (nursing assistant and HUC) to work in our PACU Perianesthesia Unit (pre and post-operative) department located at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN. Position will support nursing personnel in our busy unit, which averages over 10,000 cases per year. Work under direction of nursing personnel to provide patient care while functioning as a nursing assistant and as a health unit coordinator. Duties may include: patient cares, vitals, bathing, feeding, answering call lights, transporting, care of environment (by stocking, cleaning, and maintaining rooms) and use of equipment, phones, clerical, transcription, and coordinate the flow of communication on the unit. May work as a patient care attendant. About this position: - This position is a budgeted 0.6 FTE (48 hours; per pay period)
- Typically 8 hour shifts, occasionally less
- Main need isafternoon and evening shifts, withsome days.
- Monday-Friday shifts opportunities
- NST shifts start at 5:30, 6:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, and1:00p Latest NST currently is done at 9:30p
- Call is available to take on Sat and Sun from 10 -1830 , be able to come in within 30 minutes

This requirement does not need to be maintained throughout employment and is not required if subsequently transferring into another Nursing Assistant or Nursing Station Tech or Nursing Station Attendant position (exception: M Health Fairview West Bank Nursing Assistants) or Current enrollment in an RN program, and completion of one (1) semester of clinical rotation within the program
