DUHS's immediate opening for Clinical Nurse II (RN), Arringdon Ambulatory Surgery Center is a once in a career opportunity. You'll come in on the ground floor to help build and grow this initiative, starting with the first Duke Ambulatory Surgery Center in Arringdon, NC. Your nursing experience will help bring this new concept to life, build the team to deliver exceptional care, and open the door to grow with Duke from the ground up. Highly preferred experience- Ophthalmic and Orthopedic procedures
Shift requirement: Monday - Friday availability to work flexible shifts between 6am and 5:30pm; if working PreOp (6am-2:30pm) and if PACU (7am-5:30pm OR 8am-4:30pm). The ideal candidate has the ability to lead effectively in a matrixed organization requiring high levels of collaboration, sound judgment, and significant operational and practice management expertise. Plus, as a leader, you are expected to demonstrate a high level of responsibility, ethical practice, sensitivity to a diverse patient population, adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, and have knowledge of:
Education
All registered nurses without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) will be required to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date and to complete the program within five years of their start date. Experience
