Medical University of SC is looking for experienced Medical-Surgical nurses for different medical surgical units.
The Observation Unit is a 18 bed Medical-Surgical Unit providing close observational care to medical surgical adult patients.
University 5W is a 16 bed Medical-Surgical Unit with a patient population that will be comprised of a variety of diverse medial/surgical/post surgical patietn with the opportunity to care for highly infectious disease patients including patients that have tested positive for covid19.
Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor degree in Nursing preferred. Licensed as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or compact state required prior to attending any Orientation at MUSC.
